The KM BOARD V1 panel is a self-supporting, high-density, basalt rock mineral fibre panel pressed with special thermosetting resins, treated on one side with an intumescent coating based on sodium silicate.
FORMAT Panel dimensions 1000x600 mm, thickness 60 mm. FIELDS OF USE The KM BOARD V1 panel is used to seal the gap between a structural element and a cable duct, fuel pipe, metal pipe, insulated metal pipe, or fire damper. Some sealing systems involve applying the KM BOARD V1 panel with the KM-FF 107 gasket, the KM-FF 108 gasket, the KM-FC 120/180 COVER coating, and the KM SEALER F sealant.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE Shape the KM BOARD V1 panel to size with a serrated blade and insert the panel into the gap of the penetration hole. Then seal the joints between the panel and the structural element with KM SEALER F. The sealing must be done on both sides of the wall/floor, making sure to install the panels with the treated surface facing outward.
