The KM-FC 120/180 COVER is made up of a 400 gr/m2 high-temperature outer fabric, raw on one side and aluminized on the other. The compound consists of a double layer of eco-friendly biosoluble felt for high temperatures of 128 kg/mc, a sheet of ceramic paper, all re-edged with a reinforced Kevlar wire
EMPLOYMENT FIELDS The KM-FC 120 COVER coating is used for fire protection air ducts. The KM-FC180 COVER coating is used for fire protection of copper pipes for biomedical gases, cable ducts and fire dampers.
MODALITY OF USE Line the system to be protected with KM FC 120/180 COVER and secure it with metal wire. Each longitudinal section of cladding must be overlapped by 50/150 mm. The perimeter overlap shall be approximately 100/600 mm in proportion to the development of the cladding. The joints should be protected with adhesiveized aluminum tape KM-ALU TAPE. At each overlap the liner is further secured with KM-CGH fabric sealing straps.
